My loving wife’s garden is a few weeks old now. We’re as settled on how it will look this year as we can get, though she’s a tad concerned about a couple of plants. We can replace them if we need to but it’d be nice to have the first year go well.
Here are a few post-production (ha!) shots. I’ve been playing in Photoshop again, but I don’t know if my ability to edit photos has gotten any better yet. I think overall my PS skills are better, but I have a lot of work to do before I can confidently edit photos to show the world.
Anyway, here are photos I took (and tweaked) on Monday.
Trying to adjust colors and tones, but not really liking my results so far. I was going for a half-sepia look on some of these, but I don’t think I got it quite right. (It works better with portraits anyway.)
Here are a few I didn’t work over as hard. I think there’s a lesson in here somewhere. I really should go back and see what I did to the first batch I showed here, too, because they came out better somehow.
Anyway, let me know what you think of them. I’d appreciate any feedback to help me find an aesthetic that works.
Have a good one.
