The lady who called me a “goo roo” sent me a couple of gift cards last week.
She asked for my address on Thursday or Friday, but I didn’t figure out why until today.
I’m humbled by her kindness. She’s the first person at my company to express appreciation for my help with their problem. I don’t know if the macro I wrote for them solved their issue, but she was grateful for my time either way.
I’m touched. She makes me realize how far a “thank you” can go.
And I’ll try to make sure I do it for someone else when occasion arises. It might just make someone’s day.
